Lara Radulovich and David Hannam developed Wentworth from Reg Watson's original concept, set in the modern day. Wentworth is filmed on a purpose-built set in the suburb of Clayton, Victoria. It has received a mostly positive reception from critics, and the first episode became the most watched Australian drama series premiere in Foxtel history. The series was picked up by several countries, including New Zealand and the UK, where it has been retitled Wentworth Prison. Cruz, it is an original science fiction mystery drama that takes place aboard a generation ship. It was produced by Philip Levens and stars Tricia Helfer, Gil Bellows, Brian Van Holt, Andrea Roth, Brandon P. Bell, Jacqueline Byers, Tiffany Lonsdale, and P.J. Boudousqué.

The miniseries was originally scheduled to premiere in November of 2014, it was moved to January of 2015 on CBC. In America, Syfy delayed its debut from November 2014 to December 2014 which aired two episodes a night each night for three consecutive nights.

Wolfblood was created after series creator Debbie Moon saw the words 'wolf' and 'blood' in a book shop, and blended the two words together in her head. The series was commissioned after the BBC Writersroom website announced an open call for children's drama scripts. Wolfblood premiered on CBBC on  September 10, 2012 and premiered on Disney Channel in the United States on October 1, 2013. The second series was broadcast on CBBC in September and October 2013 with series 3 ended on October 27, 2014. Each series consists of thirteen 30 minute episodes.

The show's name comes from the rolling papers known as "skins" and explores controversial issues such as dysfunctional families, mental illness (like eating disorders and bipolar disorder), adolescent sexuality, substance abuse, death and bullying. The show was created by father-and-son television writers Bryan Elsley and Jamie Brittain for Company Pictures, and premiered in January 2007 and went on to be a critical success as well as a ratings winner within its target demographic. Over its initial six-year run, Skins proved to be atypical of ongoing drama series in that it replaced its primary cast every two years. Other ventures to expand the brand have included a short-lived North American remake, which aired on MTV in 2011 but was cancelled after one season after advertisers abandoned the series in response to low ratings and the significant controversy which arose over its depiction of teen sexuality.
