Ascension is a Canadian/American television miniseries on CBC in Canada and Syfy in USA. Created by Philip Levens and Adrian A. Cruz, it is an original science fiction mystery drama that takes place aboard a generation ship. It was produced by Philip Levens and stars Tricia Helfer, Gil Bellows, Brian Van Holt, Andrea Roth, Brandon P. Bell, Jacqueline Byers, Tiffany Lonsdale, and P.J. Boudousqué.
The miniseries was originally scheduled to premiere in November of 2014, it was moved to January of 2015 on CBC. In America, Syfy delayed its debut from November 2014 to December 2014 which aired two episodes a night each night for three consecutive nights.
